Wisteria skies are on fire with the pretty pink and purple petals against the backdrop of red and orange sky-flames. Time shifts and rolling white foamy clouds fill a cold sky as hail and snow fall in disorderly ways. The warm liquid pours down my throat, leaving a burning sensation when all outside is freezing. My hand is held and I am wrapped in strong and safe arms. I just had the realization that the skies mirrored what I once called love.

Many things have inspired me along the way, from the way that atoms interact to universal forces working in tandem to bring joy into my life. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Chemistry from Grinnell College and a Master's of Science in Education and Social Change from the University of Miami. Currently I am a high school science educator studying at Florida Institute of Technology to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. What can I say? An educated mind is a lively soul!
